GERMAN PRISONERS IN SIBERIA.
NOW ENTIRELY FREE. ALLIED ACTION NECESSARY. Shanghai, Feb. 21. Harbin telegrams state that German prisoners in Siberia are entirely free unci many are openly trading in German goods. Others are coming north to Manchuria with Russian passports, of which many are purchasable at a hundred roubles. Prompt Allied action is necessary to combat the German occupation of these districts. A GENERAL SHOT. Potrograd, Fob. 21. When Mohiloff was evacuated, General Januskkevaitch, formerly Chief of General Staff, was taken prisoner when travelling in the train to Potrograd. He attempted to seize a revovler when told be would be interned in a fortress. The Red Guards tJierupon shot him dead.
