They never moved towards tho boats containing the women though the ship was dipping bsdly. Finally she wheeled over so far that the men fell down. Tho colonel in charge of tho deck gave orders to abandon the ship, when everyone jumped in to tho water. After rescuing the sisters tho boats quickly returned and rescued many in the water.
