STOCK REPORT. Mesrss Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report nsving held their usual fortnightly sale at Taihape on Wednesday, the ISOth iust , when a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle came forward. There w, s a good attendance of buyers and all lines of sheep’met with ready sale. The demand tor cattle was somewhat ftull and prices were inclined to he easier. Wo quote i—Sheep: 2th ewes 22s 6cl to Ss, 4 and 6th ewes 29s 9d, 4th wethers 31s 7cl to 33s 2tlr wethers 26s Id to 29s 9d, woolly lambs 14s 3d, shorn mixed “lambs 15s, cull lambs 7s. Cattle: 2yr steers £ll os to £ll Bs, 18 month steers £7 to £7 11s, young bulls £6 5s to £7 10s, store cows £7 10s to £8 3s Gd.

Dalgety end Co, Ltd., report having a very heavy yarding of sheep at their Himterville sale on Tuesday last, which sold under keen competition at prices as below: —Cull lambs 4s to 9s 2d, small lambs 11s 2d to 12s, medium lambs 12s 9d to 14s sd, good lambs 15s to 16s 9d, 6th to 4yr ewes 24s Gel, 4th owes 25s r -1 Gd, good |2th ewes 335, cull mixed 2tha IGs Id, aged rams 13s Gd to 38s

Loan and Mercantile report:—At Rongotea on Wednesday we had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. Competition was food throughout and the market generally showed improvement. The Wanganui Run Fair.will ho held on Tuesday, 12th February, at Messrs Freeman R.-Jackson and Co’s yards. The entries total ovfr a thousand rams selected from the best docks in tho Dominion The Silo will commence at 11.‘.10 a.m. [Stud sheep will he sold at 2 p. m.
