Ihe Admiralty losses announced in the House of Commons on the 23rd were the transport Aragon, which wes torpedoed and sunk on December 00th, and the auxiliary steamer Osmanieh which was mined and sunk on December 151st, both in tlio same locality in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The destroyer, whose loss wns cabled on the 7th January, was torpeoded and sunk whilst picking up the Aragon’s survivors. The Aragon’s casualties were CIO, including Captain Bateman.

The Osmanieh’s casualties wore 199, including Captain Mason ami eight nurses.
