A GIRL MISSING.
(Per Frees Asaoelat'on.T Invercargill, Jan 30. Annie Cassey, seventeen years of age, disappeared unaccountably ou Sunday. She was in the domestic employment of Mrs Stewart, of South Hillend. On Sunday siie rode to her parents’ place at Ceutio Bush, eight miles distant. Returning in the evening, the girl was accompanied part of the way by a girl friend, and later overtook a gig driven by W. Crowe. She accompanied him a short distance, and then cantered towards Stewart’s Next morning the Stewarts found the horse in the paddock and the saddle and bridle hung uu in the usual phice, but there was no trace of the girl Her bed had not been slept in and th© effects had not been touched, Search parties have found no trace so far of the girl. She had been in good spirits all day, and was not known to be in trouble ot any kind.
