Stratford R. 0., Jan. 1. .'-’f MANAWATU R.O. SUMMER MEETING. The M ana vatu R.O. Summer Meeting will be held on Wednesday and Thursday next. The first race starts at 12 noon on each day. Exceptionally large acceptances have been received for ell events, and the Club has every promise of holding another recofd meeting, the profits of which are to go to patriotic funds. The only arrivals since yesterday were Lingerie, Oratress and Interlude, A large number of visiting horses~are expected to put in an appearance to-day, and there should be some interesting work at Awapuni to-morrow and Mondav.
