An Italian official message states; We have repulsed repeated attacks, the enemy on Monday attempting to gain ground at Castagnavizza on the Carso. Furious lighting ensued. All our positions have been maintained.
We drove back, with heavy losses, enemy attacks between Yippacco and Castagnavizza.
