Scratched; Veto, Peroneal, Won easily. Time, 1.15. Summer Handicap, six furlongs.— Fidelio 1, Sylviaroa 2, Trickery 3. Scratcned: Golden Grafton and Ticino. Won by half a length. Time, Imin Isce. % Hurdles, miles —Golden March 1, Captain Miro 2, St. Kiel 3. All started. Won easily. Time, 2min 58sec. MANAWATU SUMMER MEETING SECOND DAY. V Palmerston N., Dec. 27. There is fine weather and a good attendance for the second - day’s racing. Results: — Kelvin ‘Hack. —Teka 1, Captain Glossop 2, Probation 3. fAll started. Won by a length. Time, 1.47. Tiritea Hurdles. —Arlington 1, Jem and Black Heart, dead heat 2. Scratched Parewanui and Janitor. Won by half a length. Time, 3.17. Highdeu Hack, six furlongs.— Gazique 1, Comment 2, Foeman 3.
