MAJOR REDMOND’S APPEAL.

A GASSING INCIDENT. THE HUH SWALLOWS HIS POISON. Renter. London, Oct. 17. Major Redmond’s appeal relates that in one attack poison gas of the most concentrated form was used. An Irish division suffered heavily, but Providence was on our side, for the wind changed suddenly and the gas blew back to trenches where Bavarians were ready massed to attack. The enemy were taken by surprise. They left their front line and lan across the open, when they were mown down by our artillery. Thirteen hundred were killed, whereof a large number died from gassing. Once the division and an Ulster division held the line side by side.
