TROUBLE IN HUNGARY.
THE EXCITEMENT OF THE STRAFED. COUNT TISZA’S LITTLE EPISODE. London, July 9. The Morning Post’s Bnda Pest cori'espondent says thex - e were exciting scenes in the Hungarian Chamber, members shouting to Con nt Tisza demanding the protection of Transylvanian territory from invasion, and insisting that the generals responsible for the terrible losses in; June be called to account. Count Tisza said the fighting might be considered as a passing episode. An Independent party representative interrupted: “A nice little episode—loo,ooo Hungarian soldiers slaughtered!” Count Tisza said: “In Volhynia we are gaihing lost ground. In Bukoviha steps have been taken to stay the enemy’s offensive.” The correspondent continues; Tbe bitterness against the generals who led the army to destruction is indescribable. « THE GERMANS IN RUSSIA. ADMIT SUPERIOR PRESSURE. London, July 7. Reuter reports that the German official message admits that Von Liusingeu, owing to superior pressure from the west of Kolki, has chosen a shorter defensive line. This means that the Russians are pushing back Von Linsingen towards Kovel.
