Pearce Handicap, one r mile. — Taringamutn 1, Haumakaka 2, Goldstream 3. Scratched: Kooya, Maniaroa, Botanist and Master Achilles. Won by a length and a half. Time, Imin 48sec.

Tlie Wellington ‘ Spring Meeting concluded to-day in dull and showery weather. The course, however, was in good order. The totalisator handled £41.761 as against £39,673 on the corresonding day last year, : making the total amount handled for the two days £74,084. WAYERLEY MEETING. Close and humid weather, with occasional showers, prevailed yesterday when the Waverley-Waitotara Racing Club held its. annual meeting. There was a very large attendance. The course was a trifle heavy. The sum of £18,333 was machined, as against £20,118 last -year. Results : Brewer Handicap, six furlongs.— 3 Lady Middleton 1, 6 Crawford 3, 4 Astor 3. Also ran: 8 Rewi Poto, 1 Tree Lucerne, 2 Denise Orme, Tyson, 5 Kauiki, 9 Lady Amai. 7 Heather, 10 Epworth, 11, Lady Nolan, Tyson and Lady Middleton were coupled. Lady Middleton put in a great run over the last half furlong, and won by a neck from Crawford, Astor being half a length away. Time, Imin 18sec. Morton Memorial Maiden Race, 7 furlongs.—l Black Ada 1, 10 Patronga 2, 3 White Blaze 3. Also ran: 3 Marcavis, 10 Syntax, 12 Royal Loop, 4 Collector, 9 Durane, 7 Knocknagow, 11 Cornice, 6 Cordon, 5 Namur, 8 Paeroa. Durane led into the straight, where Black Ada came on the scene and won in a canter by two lengths. “ Time, Imin 31sec.

Hurdles, \ x /, miles.—2Ngapoto 1, 7 Royal Patron 3, 5 Epworth 3. Also ran: 1 St. Gate, 6 Rexer, 4 Cokeley, 3 "White Plume, BGo On. White Plume led Ngapoto and St. Gate past the stand, but she ran off at the second jump, and St. Gate also ran off. Rexer pulled up, and Ngapoto went on and won easily by two lengths from Royal Patron, Epworth being a long way back. Time, 2min 57sec. Wilson Stakes, four furlongs.—(s Bivouac 1, 7 Tiora 2, 4 Veto 3. Also ran: 2 Zion, 3 Coropet, 1 Interlude, 12 Kawarau, 10 Coronita, 5 Fidelio, 13 Formosus, 9 Royal Chef, 8 Pergola, 11 Golden Fan. Entering the course proper Interlude, Zion, Bivouac, and Yeto were together in front. Bivouac won by a length from Tiora, who beat Veto in the last few strides by a head. Time, 52sec.

Cup, come Nugget 2, 6 Wild Lupin 3. Also ran: 7 Ratana, 4 Patronale, 5 Royal Simon, 3 Tangiwai, 8 Inenru, 9 Lady Nolan. Patronale led to the four furlong post, where Welcoine Nugget took command and Imarose came from the rear into.second place. Welcome Nugget down in the run home, and won a .fine race by three-quarters of a length. Time. 2min 14sec.

Flying Handicap, sis furlongs.—7 Yladineau 3, 3 King Ohiara 2, 1 Combustion 3. Also ran:-4- Calais, 2 Coropett, 6 Iceberg, 5 Yestalis, 8 Henry Clay. Yladineau and Vestalis led to the three furlong post, where the latter retired. Yladineau stalled off King Chiara and won easily by tw r o lengths. Combustion was a ’ length away. Time, Imin 17sec.

Moumahaki Stakes, one mile.—3 Lady Amai 1,2 Welcome Nugget 2, 5 Glacier 3, Also ran: 1 Melodist, 4 Boldstroke, 9 Classis, 8 Cokeley, 6 Cordon, 7 Abalone. ‘ Welcome Nugget was first into the straight, but in the run home Ladv Amai wore him down and won by a neck. Time, Imin 46sec. Jackson Memorial Stakes, five furlongs.—2 Black Ada 1, 3 Bisogne 2, 4 Bivouac 3. Also ran: 1 Tirana, 5 Interlude, 9 Durane, 13 Freckles, 6 Akaha, 10 Idolist, 7 Festoon, 11 Maid o’ Gowrie, 12 Dodd 14 Princess Lucy 8 Joey. Bivouac led into the straight where Black Ada headed him and stalling off a'great run by Bisogne won by a nose. Time, Imin ,ssec.
