THE FORCE REDUCED TO FRAGMENTS.
Paris, March 2.
A Prague telegram states that the 91st Czech Regiment refused to go to Galicia. It mutinied and all its superior officers and many juniors were massacred. The -mutineers were subjected to terrible reprisals and tbe remnants of the Regiment have been sent to ths Roumanian frontier.

A TREASON WHISPERER
WARNED.
Capetown, March 3. Hertzog, in the Assembly, vehemently protested against, martial law, he said, was gagging, free speech. Mr Burton, in reply, asked Hertzsg, - who whispered treason into the ears of the people. If, he said, Hertzog had done his dnty as a patriot, the recent state-of affairs would have been avoided. The Government/ had hitherto been lenient in the hope of avoiding trouble, but would-not be so in future. -
