United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Sydney, September 1. There were ten cases of smallpox to-day. There are 63 patients and 310 convalescents in quarantine. A large number suffering from chickenpox presented themselves for examination. LATEST BULLETIN. Per Press Association. Wellington, September 1. Tiie Deputy Chief Health Officer issued the following smallpox bulletin at 5 p. m. to-day : The district health officer at Auckland, Dr. Monk, reports that there are no cases reported from Auckland city or suburbs. Nothing is reported from the north of Auckland. South Waikato district is reported about clear. Reports from the north Waikato are also good. The Hon. R. H. Rhodes was asked last night if he had done anything further regarding the, isolation of Auckland, which had been hinted at on Friday. He said, “I never suggested it; the papers might have, but I cau’fc hexp what the papers say. ’ ’
