MANGAWEKA PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
I CALL TO REV. JOHN McGA'W, j NORSE WOOD. At yesterday’a meeting of Wanganui Prehstyery, in Martou, the Moderator of Mangaweka charge (Rev. A Porter) laid on the table a call from“Mangaweka to Rev. John lucOaw, of Norsewood Tie call is fully'signed by 49 members and 48 adherents of the churches in Mnngaweka, Oiiingaiti and Raugiwahia. The call was supported by two commissioners, Messrs McDonald and Caird, elders, from Managweka, who briefly addressed the Presbytery, The Presbytery unanimously sustained the cull, and fixed the date of induction to take place at Mangaweka on Wednesday, June 25th, at 8 o’clock. The Moderator, Rev. A. Porter, to preside. Rev. R. H. Osthermeatl to preach. Revs, J. B. Hall and J. D. McKenzie to address the congregation and minister respectively. Several of the ministars spoke in the highest terms of the ministerial
work of the Rev. M? McOaw. 'The settlement at Mangaweka is regarded as a successful and happy one.
