Mr Do Wet said he sprang from a manure heap and said he preferred to be there with the people than on the most brilliant platform with foreigners. The demonstrators proceeded to Mr Hertzog 5 s house. Mr Hertzog in a speech apologised for his thoughtless references to Mr Smartt’e imperialism.
