Albert Bowes, a chauffeur, fired three times at Mr Henry, Commissioner of Police, outside his Kensington residence. Mr Henry was wounded in the groin and his condition is serious. His assailant, who was arrested, nad recently applied for a license to drive a taxi-cab and had been refused.
