Per .Press Association. Waibi, November 19. A story was in circulation yesterday afternoon that a man on horseback, while journeying from Kofeikoti to Waihi, was bailed up by an armed mail. Thedbrmer alleges that when bailed up be galloped across country, and was hotly pursued bv an armed man until the latter brought him to a standstill in a swamp. The pursued man alleges that revolver shots were fired at, a distance of about a quarter of a mile.
