MASTERTON TOURNAMENT. ! Far Frees Association. Masterton, July 24. The Masterton Boxing Club held a tournament in the Town Hall tonight. The weather was nntavonrbala, bat the attendance was good. Following are the results:— Lightweight, five rounds.-O. dad - wallader. Uaitexton. won from S. Dare, Pahlatca. Dare was knocked down la the first ronnd, and the referee stopped the fight. V. Middleweight, five rounds.—J. D, Hides, East Coast, defeated J. Hobking, Tanern. Featherweight.—G Barr, Masterton, beat W. Mack, Wellington. The latter was disqualified for holding. Featherweight. —R. Treweek, Mauawatu, won from G. Hunt, Fahlataa.
Lightweight.—A. Havill, Manawata, beat S, Porter, Hastings. Heavyweight.—T. Smith, Tauera, beat S. Evans, Masterton.
