LIFE SAVING AT SEA.

A report by experts on the regulations governing life saving apparatus on vessels at sea has been furnished by the Marine Department. It is the 'document that the want of men experienced in the use and handling of boats is a serious matter in the case of shipwreck, and it is suggested that before the ISsw Zealand regulations are altered it would be'advisable to wait for the report of the British Board of Trade which is now considering the matter of boat accommodation.
