At Wanganui Easter Tennis Tournament Miss Powdreil; lady champion of New Zealand, won the ladies championship from Miss Brwester of New Plymouth, 6—l, 6—o. Miss Cave of Wanganui won the ladies handicap singles, defeating Miss Onrtis of Wellingtoo. Ladies Doubles Handicap. Misses Gave and Newoombe of Wanganui, were first. Ladies Championship Doubles, Miss Powdreil and Mrs Jones (Patea). Combined Handicap Doubles, Onrtis and Miss Curtis, Wellington, forfeited in the final. Men’s Champion Doubles, Wyhourne Bros., of Waverley, beat Lyndsay and Powell, Wellington, in the final. In Jthe Men’s Handicap Singles semi finals M. Davey of Blenheim defeated A. Powdreil. and R. D. Wyhourne of Waverley beat J. GrSwauson, Pabiatna.
