Per Press Association. CunisTcnuncix, July 9. Two young men named Henry Cox and Cecil J. Wates pleaded guilty to-day to fivp chargga q£ forgery and were.cited to the Supreme Court for sentenot), A third man Jolm Downio Stewart alleged to be implicated in two of the charges pleaded not guilty and was cited for trial. George Roper, licensee of the Star and Garter Hotel, -yyds convicted to-day of permitting drunkenness on his premises and gambling by playing quoits for drinks. On the charge of permitting gambling ho was fined 40s and on the other ohargo was fined £5. His heenso vats also ordered to be endorsed.
