AUCKLAND REQUIREMENTS.

Tress Association. Auckland, June 21. At the Chamber of Commerce dinner, which was attended by northern members of Parliament, special reference was made to the urgency of opening up native lauds for settlement, and of the completion of the North Trunk railway; early communication by railway to Gisborne and Taranaki; the increase of railway rolling stock ; the erection of post office and railway station buildings adequate to meet the requiromuts of Auckland city. Mr'Massey, referring to tariff reform, said that ho trusted no attempt would be made to increase customs duties, but that there would be a reduction on articles in daily use. Pie said that if the tariff, Laud Bill and native lauds received _ justice there would be very little time for anything else this session.
