The members of the Anglican Church have recently undertaken vast improvements to the Cemetry, the consecrated portion of which has been eradicated of all noxious weeds. A fine take of grass promises to make this once bare place a spot of beauty and credit should be given to the Rev. Hewlett who has been very enthusiastic in the work done.
The Anglican Sunday School Picnic held on the Rev Hewlett's grounds was a great success and the children were well looked after and catered for by the organisers.
On Sunday last Harvest Thanksgiving Services were held in the Presbyterian Church the Rev. Hales preaching at 10 a. m. and 2.30 p. m. to good attendances.
