Some person or persons out Otaua way show an unquestionable tendency for larrikinsm occasional'". which has an outlet in interfile, -v. with horses belonging to people who attend various gatherings held in the hall. After a recc.it church service a Waiuku minister found that the tether rrpe nr.d bridle on his horse had been broken and his saddle also "fixed' so that anyone trying to mount the hoise would fall. As was somewhat dark the annoyance was considerable in arranging the damaged gear. Such acts are mean and contemptible to a degree, and any person who derives amusement thereby requires a salutary lesson with a good stock-whip.
