We hope to sec a large attendance of members present 011 Saturday at the annual meeting of the Franklin Agricultural and Pastoral Society. We have every fai:h in the futu-e of this Society, and believe that with energy aud good luanagouieiit it can occupy a much morn prominent position '1 the " world of shows" than it has ever done in the pas'. We are sure that with a little elfoit the active membership of the Society coi'kl be largely increased. The district is now ; 'i process of rapid development, and if u pushful, progressive p" 1 cy were adopted the reslt't wol'M undoubtedly be advantageous 10 the Si>ci< ty, to the exhibitors, and to the bigger crowds of spectators who wor'd be induced to visit the Show
