Prior to his leaving the district, Mr Thomas Brown was entertained by his fellow-townspeople at Mr Evison's boardinghouse. Mr S. The usual stock sale was held last Monday, but the yarding was small, Mr Campbell Mitchell selling. • Prices were good, particularly for dairy cows, which sold at recent market quotations.
