WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR ?
According to scientists, the preference you show for certain colours reveals all there is to be known about your disposition and character. Introverts prefer cool colours, whereas extroverts prefer warm hues. Athletes choose reds; intellectuals, yellow or blue; jolly, good-natured people, orange; egotists show a distinct liking for yellow; the gourmet prefers warm colours; his taste runs to orange, rich browns and reds; his dislikes include blue, yellowish green and violet. Ask people to name their favourite colours and usually they will be given without hesitation. They may also volunteer prejudices for certain other shades. Just by these acknowledgements you will be in a position to judge their personalities and emotional natures. It is a peculiar fact that similar traits in character are possessed by those who prefer the same colours.. Colour prejudices also reveal certain characteristics.
For instance, red seems to be a. general favourite, but it is especially
loved by vigorous, Impulsive and vital people. Finesse is not a part of their make-up. Their passions are strongly physical. They make excellent soldiers and athletes, but have to learn to discipline themselves. Being restless, they cannot persevere at anything for any length of time. The preference for maroon and the cyclamen shades shows a red personality subdued. This is the “ red ” type of temperament with it® faults modified very much. When orange is the favoured colour we find decidedly social individualsLove of good food, hearty fellowship and the pleasure found in the company of the great mark them. They have none of the passions we find in the red personality. Although not especially scholarly, they are often charming and loquacious in manner. Green is generally the preference of the people we love and know and befriend. They are the natural, lovable, neighbourly people with numberless friends. The intellectuals, who prefer yellow, sometimes are cultists in type. They struggle vainly to master the destiny of humanity -heir failure is largely due to their unwillingness to take the trouble to understand their fellow-men. Those whose choice is brown are
our firm, substantial and reliable friends. They are the tortoises—slow and steady, but infinitely sure of themselves. 1
Sufferers in. other people's troubles are usually -purple They will suffer with you, hut make no effort to allay your tears or misfortunes.
Preferences for lavender reveals a person who professes a love for the finer things and has nothing to back up his or’ her pretended tastes. If our analysis of your character doesn’t fit in with youh choice of colour perhaps you should change your colour !
