TOKOROA W.D.F.F.
JUNE MEETING At the June meeting of the Tokoroa branch of the W.D.F.F. the president, Mrs. A. Honeylbun, presided -over a fair attendance of members. She was ably assisted by the secretary, Mrs. J. Hassell. The meeting opened with the reading of the aveed. Included in "the correspondence were invitations to attend birthday parties of the Putaruru W.D.F.F., Tirau W.D.F.F. -and Lichfield Women’s Institute. Also included were thanks for parcels from soldiers and a notice dealing with the intersprovi racial conference to be held in Auckland. Mrs. ’Flavail and Mrs. Campbell gave a report on the inter-provin-•cial meeting at Hamilton. They were accorded a hearty -vote of thanks. An enjoyable afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mrs. J. Campbell, Mrs. E. Goodrick and Mrs R. Walsh. Hostesses clfosen for the July meeting were Mrs L. Ashworth, Mrs. -H. Anderson, Mrs. D. Blain and Mrs. J. H. Blain. Competitions resulted as follows: Best bloom, Mrs-. E. Goodrick; vegetable, Mrs. A. Reid; circulating shilling, Mrs. P. Dickenson; peanut Jiunt, Mrs. A. Reid.
