A request by the Waikato Hospital Board that the hospital levy be paid monthly in order to stive interest on overdraft was quickly “knocked back” by the Matamata County Council on Thursday tit the Suggestion of theehairman. The clerk had commented that even to pay quarterly the council would have to make the payment out of its own overdraft.
