TE RAPA—SECOND DAY Exceptionally large acceptances for the second day of the Waikato Racing Club’s meeting on Saturday will mean that provision will have to be, made for divisions in the Gordonton Hack, Matangi Hurdles, Hamilton Handicap and the (Farewell Handicap. Noticeable exceptions from the Franfeton Steeples are the first and second horses of Saturday last—Gay Fort and Brookby Song. Newcomers, however, are Bright Fox and Abdicate. A special feature of the day will be the race for the cup presented by the Duke of Gloucester, with which is attached £IOOO in stake money. It will be a race for gentlemen riders.
