RABBITSKIN SALE

The Otago Farmers Co-op. Association of N-Z, Ltd., reports that a large catalogue was submitted to a full bench of buyers 'last week. The sale generally opefled quietly, buyers- having already adjusted their prices to meet the levy of 20 percent which came into force this sale. Apart from th e adjustment in prices to meet the levy it was soon evident that the values were on a lower 'level as compared with last sale, this being more pronounced on autumn and early caught skins. In the winter grades, bucks were easier, while the demand for does was good and prices were a shale firmer. The market can be quoted as follows: The decline being summers land low grade, skins from 2d to 9d; autumns from 3d to 16d; incomings and early winters from 2d to lOd; winter bucks from 2d to 4d; and does advanced from 2d to 4d.
