UNITED CHURCH SERVICE

MONTHLY INTERCESSION There was an encouraging increase in the attendance at the monthly united church service held in the Town Hall on Sunday evening, when Captain. Grant occupied the chair in the absence of Major Bell- Scripture lessons were read by Captain Grant and Mr. R. G- Hutton, and prayers led by Captain Grant, Mr. A. R. Vesper, Mr- RHall and Mr. L. B- Vaughan- With Mrs. G. Tulloch at the piano, the hymns sung were: “O, Worship the Eng,” “The Churches One Foundation,” “Eternal Father Strong to Save” and “Crown Him With Many Crowns.” The address was delivered by the Rev- H. A. Darvill, who took for his text words addressed to Timothy: “Christ Jesus, Our Hope.”

The service closed with the benediction pronounced by the chairman.
