The Key Zealand Meat Producers Board has received the following cable from its London office, dated September 1, advising that the following were tlje approximate average prices realised for the week: — New Zealand Lambs.—Canterbury: 361 b and under 7id, 371 b to 421 b 7sd, 431 b to 501 b 64d; second quality, average 321 b, 7d. Other South Island brands : 361 b and under 7!d, 371 b to 421 b 11<1, 431 bto 501 b 6id. Selected North Island brands (including Downs): 361 b and under 71d, 371 b to 421 b 7sd, 431 b to 501 b 6id; second quality, average 321 b, 7d. Other North Island brands: First quality, 361 b and under 7d,'371b to 421 b 6ld; second quality, average 321 b, 6Ad. New Zealand Sheep.—Canterbury and North Island selected crossbred wethers and maiden ewes : 481 b to 561 b 43d, 571 b to 641 b 43d, 651 b to 721 b 4d. North Island crossbred wethers and maiden ewes: 481 b to 561 b 4gd, 571 b to 641 b 43 d, 651 b to 721 b 3 id. Ewes: 481 b and under 3ld, 481 b to 641 b 3id, 651 b to 721 b 3gd.
