Queen’s Garlands.
The Queen has given to the Victoria and Albert Museum two magnificent ceremonal garlands, embroidered in silver-gilt thread, and strips, and, in one instance, decorated with jewels and seed pearls (states a London exchange). They were presented, together with a spice bag also given by Her Majesty to the museum, to the Prince of Wales during his visit to India in 1921. j
