Aliens in Australia.

Sydney, January 21. '] he Bishop of North Queensland, preaching at Newcastle, reiterated his warnings and appeals to Christianise aliens. He did not believe Asiatics could be kept out of Australia, and also believed that when the next upheaval came amongst Asiatic peoples the line of least resistance would be found to be Australia. Such a thing might be in the very far future, but the interes's of those that came after had to be considered. Unless Asiatics found a higher standard of morality than they had left, the future of Australia would be one to bring tears to the whole nation. He spoke highly of the Queensland Government’s treatment of Kanakas.
