First prize £3, second £l. Rules and Regulations: The Committee reserve the right to reduces the prizes in proportion to the funds at their disposal if found necessary. Decision of Judge in all cases to be final. Any competitor moving off his mark before the firing of the pistol, will be put back one yard. All competitors will be late at their, own risk, and any one not answering to the Starter’s or Secretary’s call, will be disqualified. Five starters in each event or no third prize, four or no second, three or no fi r si. Nominations for Nos, 5 and 12 lobe in not later than December 23rd, acceptances by 30th December. The Committee reserve the right to alter, amend, or leave out any item, Intervals during the day to be filled in with sports for the children. The BIJOU BAND from Nelson will he in at tendance. An excursion Steamer will run from Wellington and Nelson should sufficient inducement offer. Admission to the Grounds, Is; Children, half-price.
