The Wakamarina Reefs.

Mr. Beere, who is Engineer to the Golden Bar and Federation GoldMining Company, came from Wellington yesterday, and proceeded to the. reefs at once to lay off further work. A contract will be let to drive another fifty feet along the Golden Bar reef, and another contract to complete the tunnel, so as to cut the reef in the Federation. This work will go a long way to assist proving the country, and we hope before many weeks elapse to chronicle news that will startle our capitalists into active operations.
