In accordance with " The Public Works Act, 1882," "Amendment Act, 1884," and "The Private Tramways Act, 1882," is hereby given that Messrs "*-' Brownlee & Co. have made an application to the Peiorus Road Board for a license to construct a tramway across and along parts of the main and by-roads in the Peiorus sub-division of the Peiorus Road Board District, and the plan of the proposed tramway, showing what roads it will cross or proceed along, may be inspected at the office of the Board, Havelock, on and after the third day of July, 1890, and the said application, with any objections thereto, will be taken into consideration by the Board on Wednesday, August 6, 1890.
