Mahakipawa Alluvial Com-. pany.
A general meeting of the shareholders of the company was held, at the Mahakipawa Hotel on Tuesday last. There was a good attendance of shareholders present, but as the accounts had been left in confusion by the late manager, the only business done was the confirmation of the appointment of Mr W. T. Erskine as legal manager, and changing the registered office to Havelock. The meeting then adjourned till the auditor could go through the whole of the company's transactions, and give a correct statement of its financial position.
