“ We shall sell to no man justice or right: We shall deny to no man justice or right : We shall defer to no man justice or right.”
The Colonial Government steamer Luna arrived in harbor late on Sunday night from Tauranga and Auckland; she brought no mail. Mr. Blackett •of the Marine Department was a passenger by the Luna, whose expected arrival was telegraphed to this port by the Opotiki’s mail on Saturday. This gentleman is to survey and define the limits of the harbor, on account of the General Government, with a view to appointing a Pilot and Harbor Master —a work which is greatly needed, and for which, with other things, we are indebted to the Superintendent’s recent visit to Wellington.
