EIGHT NOMINATIONS
PRODUCERS’ MEMBERS N.Z. MEAT BOARD (Pur Pross Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The returning officer announces he has fecivcd the following nominations for three vacancies for producers’ representatives on the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board: — Mr. H. D. ‘Acl-and, Christchurch (sitting member). Mr. L. M. Coop, Ataahua, Canterbury. Mr. J. Cowie, Balfour, Southland. Mr. C. C. Ho-limes, Otaki Railway, Wellington. Mr. J. M. James, Masterton. Mr. J. D. W. Ormond, Waipukurau (sitting member). Mr. J. -H. 'Reicl, Toa Toa, Bay of Plenty. Mr. H. E. Worsp, Whangarei.
The election will take place on August 31 when the delegates, who will'be elected -to represent districts throughout the Dominion and who wilt constitute the electoral committee, will assemble in Wellington to consider the seventeenth report and statement of accounts of the board and to -elect three -producers' representatives on tlhe board. Nominations for delegates to the electoral committee close at the board’s office -at noon on July 7. A postal ballot will then be conducted among sheep-farmers- in the districts where the nominations are in excess of the number of delegates -required.
