LONDON MARKETS The Bank of New Zealand advises receipt of the following cable message from (London as at the close of 'business thi.s week. —"Wethers: The market is dull, with a downward tendency. Ewes: There is a better inquiry. Lambs: The market is easier. Quotations: Wethers, light 3Jd to 4Jd, heavy 2-jd to 3,\d: ewes, 2',d to 3j|d; lambs, twos Ggd to Gid, eights Ggd to 6Jd, fours GJd to Gj|d, seconds (iijd to GSd."
LONDON WOOL SALES The Bank of New Zealand has received the following cable advice from its London office dated April 21: "Prospects for the next series of sales are favourable. It is expected that the .market will be a little lower for Merino. It is anticipated that if there is any change in medium crossbred and coarse crossbred it will be in sellers' favour."
