Parry, in welcoming competitors at the first separate national junior and women’s 1 athletic championships at Cai'law Park to-day. He congratulated the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association on its initiative. “JA has worked for the championships for''several years,” said the Minister. Young women of to-day realised that for them a physically fit body was jusit as important as for their brothers.
