SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIPS
CENTRE BOWLING TITLES THIS MORNING’S PLAY The Kahutia Bowling Club’s green was in excellent playing order to-day for the annual contests for the Gis-borne-East Coast Bowling Centre’s singles championships. Play was commenced this morning under perfect weather conditions and three rounds were completed by 2.30 p.m. The players taking part in the competitions were representatives of Coast, Wairoa, Te Karaka and the three town clubs.
