Hunt For Houses
An indication of the keen demand for houses in Gisborne was given during the week-end. A house was advertised for rent on Saturday and five minutes after the advertisement had appeared the first house-hunter arrived on the scene. By the time Sunday night arrived no fewer than 70 inquiries had been received for the house, while more were received to-day.
