NEW BRITISH MACHINES UP TO 275 MILES HOURLY (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, March 25. Additional details of the Fairey stratoplanes for flying at greater heights than was at present practicable with passengers, are announced. Fourteen of these airliners have been ordered by the Air Ministry. They will embody pressure cabins of a more advanced kind than those in any airliner at present in service or beyond the experimental stage. In the cabins the normal ground level atmosphere pressure will oc maintained up to a height of 15,00011, Accommodation will be provided for 30 passengers. This type of airliner is designed to attain a maximum speed of 275 miles an hour, with four engines each of 1000 horse-power. ,
