WAERENGA-A-HIKA NEWS
(Herald Correspondent.) A* ithe monthly meeting of the Waerenga-a-hika School Committee there wore present Messrs. Duncan, chairman, R- D. Moore, L. Torrie, W. Jackson, and L. Williams. The construction of mew paths was discussed, while it was decided to hold a series of social' and card evenings, the first to be held on April 15. At >a recent meeting of the Waerenga-a-hika Tennis Club, the Rev. R. C. Aires presided. It was decided *o have a working bee on Saturday mornings. Care of the courts during the winter also was discussed. A subcommittee was appointed to arrange a dance at the close of the season, whileit was decided, to conduct a tournament; at Easter. Miss Thompson has been the guest of ikr sister,* Mrs. J. Brown.—Mrs. J. Scott and her two daughters have been visiting Tokomaru Bay.—Mrs. . E. Morris, who has been the guest of Mrs. Croxton, has returned to Kaiti.
