ST. PAUL'S LADIES' GUILD Si’OUTS CLUB PUOGIvAiMMK (Herald Corrospomleiil.) Mrs. N. G. Nisbett presided at the recent meeting of St. Paul’s Ladies’ Guild held at her home. There were present Mesdames H. C. Boys, J. Adams, H. L. Twisleton and A. E. Legge: Misses B. and M. Fisher, S. and J. Twisleton and J. and D. Boys. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames A. R. Pierce, W. JReed and A. W. Thomson. The financial result of the flower show held in February was considered very satisfactory, and to augment the funds to paint the church it was decided to hold a dance in the Motu Hal! on April 28. A vote of thanks was passed to the hostess, and il was announced that the next meeting would be held at Mrs. W. J. Reed’s home.

Sports Club Committee

Members of the Motu Sports Club committee met recently, Mr. T. Jackson presiding. There were also present Messrs. E. P. Fishef, D. Doole, A. Gribbeu and J. R- Donaldson. The financial position of the club was reported lo be sound and it was decided to hold a picnic and sports meeting for children on Mr. E. P. Fisher’s property on April 1. All children will be welcomed, and a programme of sports events would be arranged. In addition, it was decided to hold a dance in the Motu Hall in the evening. The sports and dance will be held annually.
