TE KUITI SCHOOL RAZED
MAIN BLOCK DESTROYED BRIGADE'S GOOD SAVE (Per PriiHS Association.) TE KUITI, this day. A fire completely destroyed the central block of the To Kuiti primary school buildings this morning, embracing five classrooms, the headmaster's study containing the records and equipment and the teacher's room. The fire was well under way when it was noticed. Nothing was saved The brigade prevented the flames from spreading to the adjoining blocli of buildings, although handicapped by the low water pressure. It was a very spectacular blaze which swept rapidly through the old wooden building. Temporary arrangements have been made for classes.
