Additional troops sent to the latter frontier number 100,000. Paris . messages state that the French Senate voted for the plenary powers requested by the Cabinet by 286 votes to 17. The French Premier, M. Baladier. addressing the Senate regretted the necessity for modifying the 40-hour week law, but said that the country's salvation preceded the convenience of its citizens.
